A protest was staged at a private hospital in Coimbatore, alleging medical negligence after a minor girl died under mysterious circumstances. The protesters petitioned the police to inquire and take action against the parties involved. 

According to the police report, the girl, aged 13 fainted at the school and was brought to the hospital. Initially, the doctors gave a positive prognosis after admission, however, she was declared dead after five hours. 

The parents following the death of their child are alleging the medical staff of medical negligence stating that the doctor was giving contradicting statements about her condition.
